| Adolescent Health/Youth Development | Serves youth 10-19, outreach, life skills, reducing risk-taking. |
| Ryan White (AIDS/HIV) | Provide clinical diagnosis, treatment, and care for HIV/AIDS infected persons. Care provided by AIDGwinnett. |
| Babies Born Healthy | Assists uninsured pregnant women to obtain prenatal care. |
| Bioterrorism/Emergency Preparedness | Prepares and plans for emergencies affecting Public Health. |
| Breast and Cervical Cancer Program | Provides breast and cervical screening and case management for women 40-65. |
| Breast Feeding | Provides counseling and breastfeeding educational information. |
| BreasTest & More | Provides breast examination, mammograms, pap and pelvic exams for some uninsured women aged 40 and older. |
| Child Health | Well-checkups and care to children under 21. |
| Children First | Identifies and intervenes for children birth to five who are at risk for poor developmental outcomes. |
| Children's Medical Services | Provides a managed system of care to children under 21 with special needs. |
| Communicable Disease | Prevent the occurrence of communicable diseases (STDs) through surveillance, investigation, intervention & education. |
| Dental/Oral Health | Provides preventative dental health and services to children in school based programs. |
| Environmental Health | Prevents the spread of diseases. |
| Ensures that approprite sanitary conditions and procedures are used to protect body art customers. | |
| Investigates complaints filed by customers. | |
| Regulates food service establishments. | |
| Inspects all hotels, motels, and Bed & Breakfast inns for cleanliness and proper waste disposal. | |
| Inspects all public swimming pools. | |
| Ensures that on-site sewage disposal systems are built to code and repaired promptly. | |
| Trains employees on policies and procedures of food service. | |
| Epidemiology | Prevents the occurrence of infectious notifiable diseases through surveillance, investigation, intevention & education. |
| Family Planning | Offers pap smears, STD testing, and contraceptive choices for family planning. |
| General Lab | Lab testing - e.g., DNA, newborn metabollic screening, etc. |
| Health Education/Promotion | Provides requested health education/promotion activities in partnership with community partners. |
| Hearing, Vision Screenings | Required for children entering Georgia schools. |
| High Risk Infant Follow Up | HRIFU is a program designed to track and monitor children at risk in the first year of life. |
| Immunizations | Increasing immunization rates for all Georgians and reduce vaccine-preventable illnesses. |
| Nutrition Education | Provides counseling on nutritious food and assistance with access to healthcare. |
| Perinatal Case Management | Assists pregnant Medicaid-eligible women to access medical, nutritional and other services. |
| Pregnancy Related Services | Provides home visits to Medicaid-eligible women to reduce mother and infant illness and premature death. |
| Pharmacy | Provides drug information and guidance in drug selection; assists with ordering drugs. |
| Pregnancy Test | Provides pregnancy tests; administered on a walk-in basis. |
| Refugee Program | Provides case assistance, medical assistance, health screening, and social services to refugees. |
| Scoliosis | Provides secondary scoliosis screenings to 6th and 8th graders. |
| Sexually Transmitted Diseases | Provides prompt examination, testing and treatment of sexually transmitted diseases. |
| Stroke and Heart Attack Prevention Program | High blood pressure screening, treatment, management and supervised monitoring at Newton and Rockdale health centers. Not available in Gwinnett |
| Travel Immunization | Provides necessary vaccinations for individuals and families traveling outside the US. |
| Tuberculosis Control Program | Prevents the spread of Tuberculosis through case investigation and management, surveillance, intervention & education. |
| Universal Newborn Hearing Screening | Ensures that all Georgia babies are screened for hearing loss at birth. |
| WIC | Food and nutrition program for low income pregnant, breastfeeding and postpartum women & children to age 5. |
| Women's Health | Provides health education and health services for women and men. |
