Health Department clinics in Lawrenceville, Norcross, Buford, Conyers, and Covington are still offering bot the H1N1 nasal and injectable vaccine. Please call clinic locations to confirm availability. Clinic locations map.

 

As a reminder, children less than 10 years old who have received the first does of H1N1 vaccine, will need to receive a second dose in order to have a full immune response. The two doses should be given at least 28 days apart. If you or your child has not received the first dose of H1N1 vaccine, it is not too late to do so.

 

If you are interested in receiving the H1N1 vaccine for your child or yourself:

- Visit a Health Department Location near you, your pediatrician, or a retail provider.

- Bring your Medicaid, Medicare, or private insurance card with you, and your provider will be billed.

- If you are unsure if you have been immunized with a live virus in the past 30 days, please bring a copy of your shot record with you.

 

Vaccine is available to anyone interested and is provided free of charge through your local health department.
